It’s very important to have the right people around you for the sake of your progress and well-being. That’s why today, I’ll let you in on three types of people you should block this year. It’s time to remove them from your inner circle.

1. Toxic people:

We all know the toxic people in our lives. They drain us of all energy and whenever we spend time with them, we feel like life has no purpose. That’s why they’re number one on the list of people you should block. Sometimes they’re not even bad people and they don’t even know they’re doing it, but they sap the joy out of you.

Unfortunately, these people might be your close friends and people you love very much, but if they’re poisoning your space, you need to clear them out. You don’t always need to have a reason for ending relationships and friendships. It sounds unfair, but it’s the truth. If being around a person is stealing your energy, then they have to go.

2. Judge Judies:

These are people who make you so uncomfortable that as soon as you see them, you start adjusting your clothes and your hair because you know they’ll find something to criticize. They put you down every chance they get and never have anything good to say to or about you. Please you don’t need this kind of energy in your life. Hit the block button!

3. Enablers:

These are people who make you feel comfortable being miserable and who always indulge your excuses. Yes we all need a friend who can be a shoulder to cry on but if you notice that there’s someone who makes you want to whine all the time, then maybe it’s time to reconsider your friendship.

Yes, this person might mean well, but they might also just be comfortable being your friend because they think you can’t do better. Will this person be happy if you start thriving and have nothing to complain about? If your answer is no, then you should block them mentally at least.
